Edward Villiers Rippingille (c. 17901859) was an English oil painter and watercolourist who was a member of the informal group of artists which has come to be known as the Bristol School. James Charles Armytage (c.?1802 28 April 1897) was an English engraver of the 19th century. He produced over 200 plates. Steel engraver who worked mainly in London for "Virtue & Co.", the publisher in charge of publishing 'The Art Journal'.
