In addition to Spain and Portugal, Aragon, Andalusia, and the Balearic Islands are highlighted. Major cities are shown along with natural geographic features such as rivers, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Bay of Biscay. Title and scale of distance in English Miles printed in lower-right corner. Lines of latitude and longitude also included. Underneath the map is the following information: "London; Published by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Brown, Paternoster Row, 1822." and "Engraved by Sidy. Hall, Bury Strt. Bloomsby." "XII" printed in upper-right corner.
Sidney Hall (1788-1831) was an English map publisher and engraver. He made a name for himself as a reputable engraver in the mapmaking industry. Upon Hall's passing in 1931, his wife, Selina Price Hall (1782-1853), who was a Welsh scientist and fellow map engraver, took over his business and signed her maps under the name, "S. Hall.".
