The bombardment of Larache, known at the time of the events as the Larache Affair, was an expedition launched in June 1765 by the French navy against the Moroccan city of Larache after the bombardment of the cities of Salé and Rabat in the same year. It was a western defeat before the local forces in the context of the colonial campaigns.
