The Roman aqueduct of Peña Cortada, also known as the La Serrada Aqueduct or the La Serranía Aqueduct, runs through the municipalities of Tuéjar, Chelva, Calles, and Domeño, in the province of Valencia.

Origin: Voyage pittoresque et historique de l'Espagne. It was a travel book by the Frenchman Alexandre de Laborde, published in four volumes between 1806 and 1820. Alexandre Laborde's 'Picturesque Journey' helped spread the romantic vision of Spain abroad. The work's patron was Godoy. Contains first-hand archaeological data and beautiful English-style landscapes.
