Michael Schüppach, born June 26, 1707 in Biglen (Switzerland), died March 2, 1781 in Langnau im Emmental (Switzerland), also called Michel Schüppach or Micheli Schüppach and Schärer-Micheli, is a Swiss apothecary and barber surgeon. He was known as the “doctor of the mountains” in the 18th century.
