Portraits of scientists and other figures

This miscellaneous category gathers portraits that do not fit neatly elsewhere: scholars, soldiers, clergy and anonymous sitters, engraved and lithographed between 1679 and 1957. It includes plates after Rembrandt by Ferdinand Leenhoff, work by Charles Heath and Léopold Flameng, and even a signed Pablo Picasso print among the more unusual pieces.

It suits collectors who enjoy variety, or anyone searching for a specific face or trade rather than a single well-known name. Every print offered is an original period piece, with a technical description and measurements.
