Antique prints of the United States
Our antique prints of the United States date from 1832 to 1882. The core is the steel engraving of the Hudson River school era: Fort Putnam at West Point and the mouth of the Niagara after W. H. Bartlett, Cleveland in 1873 by Robert Hinshelwood, Niagara from Goat Island by Schroeder, and views by Henry Adlard, Robert Sands and Samuel Valentine Hunt for the illustrated American publications of the 1870s. Astoria in Oregon and Alaska extend the reach to the Pacific.
History is represented by the battle of Bunker Hill after Trumbull, engraved by Armytage.
All pieces are period originals unless stated otherwise, with a technical description and measurements.
