Antique prints after J. P. Neale

John Preston Neale (1780–1847) was a topographical draughtsman whose views of British country houses, castles and churches were engraved for popular illustrated series. This selection includes the Foundling Hospital in London, Herstmonceux Castle and the church at Hailsham, engraved by Elizabeth Byrne, J. C. Varrall and Henry Adlard between 1804 and 1831.

The category suits collectors of English country houses and local historians researching a specific building. Every print is an original period impression, with a technical description and exact measurements.
