It appeared at the same time as the French edition, Les Délices de l'Espagne et du Portugal, issued in five volumes. Among the engravings are the folding general map of Spain and Portugal and the folding view of Barcelona, much sought after by collectors. Title page and dedication engraved after a drawing by Jan Goeree.
