According to Thomas Harris, 170 impressions were taken of this tenth edition, which for quality of printing is the finest after the fourth. The subject closes the sequence of the plucked: where earlier it was women who plucked men, here it is the prostitute who falls into the hands of constables and court officers, in a satire of justice.
