Original hand-colored copper engraving with a view of Sandwell Hall in Staffordshire, the seat of Lord Dartmouth, with a group of deer in the park. Drawn and engraved by J. Storer for The Beauties of England and Wales.
It was published in London by Vernor, Hood & Sharpe within the topographical series of Britton and Brayley. Hand coloring is unusual on these views of country houses, which almost always circulated in black and white, and here it remains fresh and well applied.
