Kitchen Interior - Hand-Colored Etching Signed in Pencil by Verdaguer

Original etching, colored by hand, of an interior scene: by the lit hearth a woman nurses her child while two old women sit warming themselves, and a little girl plays with the dog on the floor among earthenware pots and storage jars. Signed in pencil Verdaguer below.

It is printed on deckle-edged paper with a Guarro watermark. The signature is most likely that of Josep Verdaguer i Coma (1923-2008), a Barcelona painter and printmaker.
