Erotic Scene - Signed Etching by Lobel-Riche - 1914 - 72/150

Original erotic etching by Almery Lobel-Riche (1877-1950), the French painter, printmaker and illustrator who specialized in the gallant print. A bedroom scene worked in etching and drypoint, with very rich blacks, signed in pencil, dated 1914 and numbered 72/150.

Below the image is an etched remarque with two male heads, beside a small stamp and the artist's signature in his own hand. A remarque of this kind belongs to the short deluxe printings and is one of the most sought-after details in Lobel-Riche's graphic work.
