Copper engraving of the 18th century with the portrait of Pieter Pieterszoon Hein, Admiral Piet Hein, within a moulded oval, in ruff and cuirass with a gold chain at his neck. Drawn from the original by Aert Schouman and engraved by Jacobus Houbraken; published by Isaak Tirion.

Piet Hein (1577-1629) is remembered above all for the capture of the Spanish silver fleet in the bay of Matanzas in 1628.
