From Alexandre de Laborde's Voyage pittoresque et historique de l'Espagne, published in Paris out of the journey the author made through the Peninsula between 1800 and 1805. Drawn by Liger and engraved by Baugean. The baths, beside the mineral spring, were already frequented from the days of Emerita Augusta.
