Catherine of Braganza (1638-1705), daughter of John IV of Portugal, embarked in 1662 for England to marry Charles II Stuart; Tangier and Bombay formed part of her dowry. It comes from volume VI of Les délices de l'Espagne et du Portugal, by Pieter van der Aa, Leiden, 1715.
