The series reproduces the frescoes of the Vatican Loggias by Raphael's workshop, published in Rome by Giovanni Giacomo de Rossi in 1674 under the title "Imagines Veteris ac Novi Testamenti". It was one of the most influential reproductive series of the Baroque. It carries the number 35, the signature "Caesar Fantetti del. sculp." and the address "Io. Iac. de Rub. form. Romae".
