Segorbe - Ruins of the Valldecrist Charterhouse - Colored Engraving 1884

Hand-colored wood engraving of the ruins of the chapel of the Holy Sepulchre in the old charterhouse of Valldecrist, near Segorbe (Castellón): the collapsed arch, the figure of Christ crucified still on the wall and two figures contemplating the rubble. Published in La Ilustración Española y Americana in 1884, after drawings sent in by D. Gonzalo Valero.
