Original lithograph with eight studies of feet drawn in lithographic crayon, very softly modeled. Signed "J. Carot" on the stone, with the imprint of the Paris workshop "Lith. de Turgis", and numbered "Pl. 15". A leaf from a 19th-century academic drawing course.

It belongs to the Cours progressif de dessin of J. Carot, one of the most widely used drawing methods in the French academies and studios of the mid-19th century.
