Five Antique English Engravings - Wolvesey Castle, Lambeth and Others

Set of five small English copper engravings of the 19th century, pasted on a sheet of blue paper and arranged in a saltire, with the titles noted by hand beside each. The largest, in the center, carries the printed lettering: "The Remains of Wolvesey Castle, formerly a Palace of the Bishop of Winchester, Hants".

The other four correspond, according to the manuscript notes on the sheet, to Beaudesert Park (Staffordshire), Sheerness, Lambeth Palace and an English manor house.

Dimensions: 8.8 x 9.1 in (22.3 x 23 cm) (sheet).
Condition: The engravings, trimmed and pasted to the sheet, in good condition; the backing paper toned, with light foxing.
