Intimate scene in the garden of an English country house: two young ladies seated at a small tripod table with a tea service, a third reading against a tree trunk, and on the ground a guitar, a book, a parasol, an umbrella, a kitten and a sleeping dog; trees behind. Original pencil drawing with the figures numbered 1 to 3 and a pencil caption below, "A scene in the garden…", naming the sitters; the names are largely illegible. Mounted on blue-grey album card.
