The series Imagines Veteris ac Novi Testamenti, known as Raphael's Bible, translated into print the frescoes Raphael and his workshop painted in the Vatican Loggias. It was published in Rome by Giovanni Giacomo de Rossi in 1674, with images by Cesare Fantetti and Pietro Aquila. This is number 52, signed "Petrus Aquila del. sculp." and "Io. Iac. de Rubeis formis Romae".

Dimensions: Plate mark 8.5 x 15 in (21.5 x 38 cm); sheet 14.2 x 18.9 in (36 x 48 cm).
Condition: Two large damp stains in the lower half, at right and left, reaching the edge of the plate mark; paper somewhat browned. It keeps wide margins and the impression is crisp.
