Taken down from Fleet Street in 1878 and re-erected at Theobalds Park in 1880, the gateway stood in the park for more than a century, until its return to central London, at Paternoster Square, in 2004.

Condition: Fair. Paper yellowed, with a crease in the upper margin; printed text on the reverse shows through.
