The equestrian statue in the center, the work of Giambologna and Pietro Tacca, remained in the Casa de Campo until 1848, when it was moved to the Plaza Mayor, where it stands today. From "Les Délices de l'Espagne et du Portugal" by Juan Álvarez de Colmenar, published by Pieter van der Aa in Leiden.
