Original lithograph of the Customs House at Naples, the quay and the basin with sailing ships at anchor, enlivened with bales, stalls and figures along the wharf. An excellent record of the 19th-century Neapolitan port, drawn and lithographed by Isidoro Salcedo.
Printed at the Donon lithographic press in Madrid and published by A. Ronchi, it belongs to a series of Italian views of great topographical accuracy, valued today as documentation of the port district before the reforms of the end of the century.
