Homage to Love and Venus - Pair of Colored Engravings after Le Sueur

A pair of original hand-colored engravings reproducing two compositions by Eustache Le Sueur (1616-1655): "Hommage à l'Amour" and "Vénus présentant l'Amour à Jupiter". Both are drawn by S. Le Roy and headed "Le Sueur - École Française", with the references E.63(d) and E.63(c) of the collection they come from. The first is engraved by Godefroy the younger; the second is an etching by Chataigner finished with the burin by Villerey.
