Old timber watermill with its great wheel fed by a wooden flume on trestles, beside a fir forest; in the foreground, logs stacked on the slope and, on the right, a wooden shed. Original pencil drawing heightened with white on grey paper, highly worked in the textures of wood and foliage, laid down on a white sheet. The type of building and the conifer landscape suggest Central Europe.
